In 2021, Piline Engineering and Piline Services have once again decided to donate the money instead of Christmas presents. This year, the donation will go to the Support association for children with cancer Tübingen e.V.

Encourager and strength booster

For more than 35 years, the Support association for children with cancer Tübingen e.V. has used its donations to enable a wide range of supportive and accompanying projects and services for children with cancer and their relatives at the Children's Oncology Center at Tübingen University Hospital and beyond. The focus is on measures and offers that are neither financed by health insurance companies nor by the state. As a non-profit association whose charitable activities are recognized by the Tübingen tax office, the association supports families whose child has cancer with these three focal points:

  • Support and relief for the families of children with cancer through a wide range of psychological and social support services and counseling during treatment and as part of aftercare.
  • Optimal care for sick children and their family members by implementing and financing important projects and by promoting needs-based staffing and technical-diagnostic equipment at the Tübingen Children's Hospital.
  • Promotion of research for the further development of treatment therapies in pediatric oncology.
